So nice to meet you! I'm Emily, the creative force behind the lens. Since I was old enough to walk, a camera has been an extension of my hand. I’ve always been drawn to capturing the in-between moments, the composition of people and elements, exploring distinctive viewpoints, and evoking emotions and sentiments through my photographs.
In 2023, I became a mum, and this transformative experience has made me realise how important it is to capture all the important family moments. Cue the launch of Solis Stories! Solis, meaning Sun ☀ I exclusively use the suns natural light to tell your story. This means no artificial setups and no staged environments, just the raw, unbridled beauty of sunlight creating a seamless dance of shadows and highlights.
My style is in between lifestyle and documentary. I capture moments that are authentic in an artful way, full of soul and feeling. Over the years, my work has changed, but one thing remains constant: I see photos as more than just images. They're meant to be felt and experienced - capturing your family, your love, your story.
